To be or not to be

An excerpt from Typical Breakfast scene...

Opi : "Daddy..how much longer is my school holidays?"
Husband : "Count-lah. You have 2 weeks..and today's Wednesday..so how many days left?"

Blank look.

Opi : "When are you going to work?"
Husband : "You haven't answered my question. Count and tell me..how many days left?"

Blank look.

Opi : "Are you gonna late tonight?"
Husband : "You haven't answered my question. Count and tell me..how many days left?"

Blank look.

Opi : "Can you buy more of the Rice Krispies?"
Husband : "You haven't answered my question. Count and tell me..how many days left?"

And it went on and on.

For every question...there is always another (totally unrelated) question.
