Yesterday I walked around office with my zip undone. Yup! My shirt has this side zipper and it was undone. I walked to the newpapers stand, to the cafetaria, to a meeting(!)..everywhere. Thank God for my bursting bladder at 10am..so I went to the ladies and did what all women do, look in the mirror. Oh dear God! My whole left side was showing...in full view...and yes, the bra was showing too. Not to mention all the 'excess baggage'. Alamak...why didn't anyone tell me?
So went to my cubicle and simply asked my staffs. "My shirt was not zipped..did you notice?" All of them looked at me and unanimously said "We notice your bra was showing..but we really thought it was some kind of fashion...."
Yeah..right...

Came home to screaming Isya. She screams whenever we come home from work. Good for her lungs, I guess. Then I realised....'batu' was not around.
"Isya...batu mana?"
"Dah balik umah........"
"Huh?"
"Mummy batu panggil batu balik...dia kata..meh balik meh.."
"Batu tinggal kat mana?"
"Isya tak tau..mummy dia naik bas.."
"Oooookayyy............."
So there goes my new found (and lost) imaginary pet.

While waiting for Isya to take (thoroughly enjoy) her bath, Opi had to perform his acrobatic/karate/WWF moves on the bed. He jumped around and on the bed. All the sudden....Aaaargghh! He was practically rolling on the floor.
"What happen? Sakit ke?"
"Lutut Opi....." He whimpered in pain.
After much persuasion, he finally showed me the cause - his swollen and slightly bloodied knee.
"Nanti...Mummy ambik air panas nak tuam"
"Ambik plaster lah"
"Cannot..pasal dah bengkak tu"
"Ambik plaster..tampal lubang ni...nanti roh Opi keluar..nanti Opi mati"
I stopped short. What was it again? Roh? Mati?
"Mana Opi belajar ni?" I doubt his Ugama Islam lesson in school teaches him that.
"Dalam Mastika kata...Akak cerita kat Opi"
And I gave my maid the Look..............

mmm........ friends shud tell you that a zip or a button is not doing its job. why, just this morning i pointed out to a colleague that his zipper is undone. had he been an enemy, i'd just let him go thru life with his zipper down.

mummy, don't show off even you earn the right to do that. Maybe your staffs too excited for the latest fashion show. anyway.... when u're facing trouble or worried, just 3 things :
1.ask yourself, " what is the worst that can possibly happen" eg. your staffs gelak at you etc
2.Prepare to accept the worst
3.Try to improve the worst
but mummy, what you faced was normally made by a human being, as long as inside our mind has a lot called
"lupa"
for the worse and radiates through their eyes n face, soul
you're right...maybe its a simple case of 'terlupa' but...it can definitely leads to a bad case of embarassment!
