I write blogs as a way of remembering things that tickle my fancy, conversations that make me smile/sad throughout the day, events that I want to capture in my memory and insya-Allah for my children to read..one day and be able to see things from their mother's perspectives.
I write blogs in between meetings, discussions, status updates, reports and all those office work. My work does not 'allow' me to show my other side..which is..I'm also a mother, a wife and a daughter. I can't go on telling my staff and colleagues about how cute my daughter's smile is or about my son's funny remarks. In fact, I try to draw a distinct line between home and office. I learn to 'compartmentalize' matters.
I write blogs about me and dedicated to those who really matter most to me.
Yes, I do spend most of my time at work..and less with my family. Maybe that's another reason for my blog...a way to remember my blessings and hope that one day Opi and Isya will know that I remember them all the time while slogging at work.
I hope the time will come and I hope this blog will be my very own time capsule.
