Am I disheartened and frustrated or edgy?
Absolutely not…because this whole episode has taught me a number of priceless lessons.
To get started with the “program”, Pona and Dodek have to invest a large sum of their savings. And pass the returns to me and Jim Bob and here’s the best part….the money is to be used as down-payments to buy us better cars. Not for us to pay mortgages or food or clothings…but better, nicer cars. Please note that both Jim Bob and me have two cars in front of our porches already as it is. Somehow Maslow’s hierarchy of needs just went flushing down the drain…hahaha.
I’ve learnt about the thoughts that matter, about the joy of daydreaming and most of all, the value of another person.
Husband will ask ever so often – What’s in it for Dodek and Pona? Who would want to give that amount of money over nothing?
Husband will ask ever so often – What’s in it for Dodek and Pona? Who would want to give that amount of money over nothing?
Initially my answer would be – I seriously have no idea why they would want to do that… maybe some people are just nicer and more generous than others. Or maybe these people don’t have an ounce of selfish streak in them. I don’t know…I really don't...
Later on, my answer was – I guess when you love a person; you just want the person to be happy.
And Husband was more satisfied now.
Last night, we hung out at Jim Bob’s place and over a pot of teh tarik, we talked some more about it. We made jokes about us driving those big cars and how much of a kadok naik junjung we are behaving. Then Jim Bob said “Baik betul depa kan?”. Surprisingly, I realized that I was holding back my tears.
I am so fortunate. I wish the world for them, and even if the ‘program’ does not materialize…at least I know the value of their hearts.
But if does…
I’ll update this blog from home, as I don’t need to work anymore or maybe after I’ve finished my session at Marie France…or after my afternoon tea by the patio…maybe even after that holiday in Vienna. I’ll also post a pic or two from the places I visit. I may take up classes on egg-decorating…do I look better in Harrier or X3? Wait…I’ll definitely look better after the facials by Sisley…
The joys of daydreaming…

The answer is very simple, we're family. And we stick together during thick and thin. Besides, the world is a great mirror. It reflects back to you what you are. If you are loving, if you are friendly, if you are helpful, the world will prove loving and friendly and helpful to you. The world is what you are.
so when is the new car(cars?) coming to the porch?

for every ailment under the sun
there is a remedy, or there is none
if there be one, try to find it
if there is none, never mind it...... ahaks! anyway, life is too short to be little!!! esp bila u're driving crv and I'm polishing my naza ria soon!
One almost 'gebeh' wira and 2 cars that doesn't even get you halfway the hill doesn't count. So that leaves u with only one reliable car, or is it???
