My darling plastic babe!

I was having a meeting, a tele-conference actually, when all the sudden my mind went poof! All because I suddenly remembered that Isya needs her plastic bracelets….like today and she has to have two of those, one for each wrist. It has to be plastic, preferably bright pink in colour.

Hers just broke the day before yesterday. It’s her daily ritual that after her afternoon nap, she’ll have a makeover by Emi, my maid cum makeup artist, of course. This is when she gets her hair tied up in numerous different styles, clipped with colourful hairpins, put on her powder and a touch of my lip gloss and as the finishing touch – she’ll wear her pink bracelets, which I bought for her from Nilai3 for $2.00.

And off she goes, smelling so sweet and wait for us to come home.

Then…after serving Isya so many months, the bracelets’ lifespan came to an end. It broke…one after another.

So yesterday started like just another weekday for Isya. She woke up from her nap, asked Emi to put her hair up in her choice of purple ribbon. She powdered her nose and put on her baby cologne. She looked for her bracelet…and she couldn’t find them. Then came a strong WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

It took Emi half an hour to pacify the wailing princess.

That was the first news I heard when I came back yesterday. And I promised her that I’ll get her a new one by today. Silly me! Where do you get pink, plastic bracelet in Cyberjaya??!

Maybe if I go home earlier, I can her off to Nilai3....hmmm...that sounds more......ridiculous!
