I hope that I’ve fully recovered from the shopping bug that infected me when I was in Dubai. Its rather hard to resume normal life after you indulged yourself in the shopping paradise. People said that Dubai streets are lined with gold – they are correct! I’ve never seen so many gold shops in my entire life. The gold designs are different from one shop to another and Mak had the best times in her life.
The weather was scorching hot at above 40 degrees – but we sweated our ways through the gold souq, spice souq, Burjuman, Meena Bazaar and the unforgettable boat ride (Abra) across the Deira Creek. Husband actually fell into the ‘shopping trap’ and got himself a couple of Guy Laroche suits, Rockport leather shoes, Caterpillar knapsack and some shirts for all under AE$1000!
What else can I say? Its very difficult to recover from a good vacation. And this one has got to be the best one so far.
So….Dubai….I’ll come again….so save some of the superbly delicious mango juice for me!

OOooo....I have you and Kak Ina in my mind all the time! If both of you had gone...hancus our 20kg per person limit, you know! But we were lucky that we had the chance to fully use Opi and Isya's allocation...heh heh heh...

ahaks...true enuff, me too just got back from Dubai and yes i did shop till I drop...and max'ed' out all the luggage limits...thank god the customs dont even wanna opne my bag..lalu ajer depan depa..or else they will be surprise to see harta karun i angkut wat balik
and yes i'm planning to go there again..at least no need to think dat much abt xchange rate lorrrrr...abt the same..
