Vertigo

I am tired. Physically, emotionally and mentally drained out. I can feel the pain seeping up and down my backbones. I can even physically feel my brain undergoing tortuously sluggish and endless spin.

Some of the culprits are...merely self-inflicted, so I can't complaint much.

In April I took over the management of two more global contracts, as in one is not enough. My braincells are being sliced and diced into a few compartments. Then I went and volunteered myself to be the training focal point for two groups of up to 30 people. I also then (gatal-gatal) took in another staff...who brings along her own "baggage" of managing the supply chain of the contract. So..yup..my work keeps piling on and with no additional resources.

Macam tak cukup with that, I went on and adopted two cats. One a kitten (barely walking when we took her in) and another an (bloody expensive) American Curl Ear breed. Aiyo!!

The house dah macam mini zoo!

My pocket also very sakit...the litter, the food, the vaccination, the vitamins...sakit...sakit...

To top it all off, Isya is complaining that she is 'fat'. Sometimes I look at her and I've been trying to remind myself that she's 4 years old. She refuses to eat her dinner and is trying her best to reduce her rice intake. All for the sake of "nak jadik macam Abang Opi". Isshhh....Opi tu kurus kering laa...

Opi is getting more and more 'forgetful'. He forgets his homework, his lunch....and sometimes he even forgets where his sister is! Once we told him that we're going out to pasar malam, and 45 minutes later he called me up with an utterly shaken voice "Mana Mummy??". My point is - it took him 45 mins to realise that we were out?!?!

This is one of those times that I feel extremely lucky to have my dearest Husband to keep me sane.

I'm definitely going to have my long overdue vacation this coming school holidays. Maybe Pulau Kapas....nice....

Of course, no problem. Here we have SuperNanny, so I have learnt a lot of techniques like Naughty Step. So your children nakal, we put them on the naughty step, tell them don't move, then we go out partying, ok?
